Soccer Recap: Rocky River Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rocky River's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Providence Panthers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-2. As for Providence, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky River will challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky River has given up an average of 5.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Providence, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Providence face off against Garinger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. They will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
