Baseball Recap: Mashpee Comes Up Short

Mashpee and Clinton squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Mashpee had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Gaels. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Mashpee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael McGrail, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Mashpee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Clinton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

As of now, neither Mashpee nor the Gaels have any future games scheduled.
