Soccer Recap: Pleasant Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Pleasant was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Crestview Cougars. Julio Tot Cu was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Pleasant's goal came courtesy of Cooper Halpin, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Crestview, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Coming up, Pleasant will face off against Buckeye Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant's defense better be ready for this one: Buckeye Valley have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Crestview, they will take on Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
