Volleyball Recap: Princeton Bulldogs vs. Wake Prep Academy Guardians
After flying high against James Kenan on Saturday, Princeton came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wake Prep Academy Guardians on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
Princeton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.
Caroline Waller paced Princeton's offense, picking up six kills. Waller got some help from Addison Taylor and her 11 assists. Finally, Kensley Evans kept Princeton's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
Among those leading the charge was Haydin Maxwell, who had 16 digs and one assist.
Princeton dropped their record down to 12-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wake Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.
Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will take on Farmville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
