Basketball Game Preview: Council Cobras vs. Grundy Golden Wave

Council is 0-10 against Grundy since January of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Council Cobras will welcome the Grundy Golden Wave at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Council was beaten by Hurley 69-31.

Meanwhile, Grundy entered their tilt with Twin Valley on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 69-40 win over the Panthers. The Golden Wave have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Grundy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Council, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
