Twin Valley came tearing into Thursday's game with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Berks Catholic Saints. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Not much got past Erin Cromwell, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Berks Catholic off the board. Cromwell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Twin Valley secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Ella Herbst, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Twin Valley pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.4 runs. As for Berks Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Twin Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berks Catholic, they will square off against Eastern York at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
