Volleyball Recap: Space Coast Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Space Coast lost against Windermere back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vipers came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Space Coast lost, don't look at Haley Cowling. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and five aces. Cowling is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Windermere found their leader in sophomore Caitlin Coughlin, who had 16 assists and three aces. Keira Bachman also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Space Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Windermere, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Space Coast will take on Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windermere, they will challenge Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Kowboys will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
