Softball Recap: Brockport Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Brockport and Spencerport, and Spencerport kept the tradition alive. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brockport dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Spencerport, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brockport will challenge rival Irondequoit at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Spencerport is set to face off against their familiar foe Honeoye Falls-Lima at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
