Baseball Recap: Dansville Comes Up Short

Dansville fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Le Roy on Sunday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Oatkan Knights by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Oatkan Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dansville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Kreiley, who went 2-for-5 with one double.

Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Le Roy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

Dansville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Avon on the 19th. Le Roy has also already played their next game (against Livonia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
