Softball Recap: Paramus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hackensack on Monday, Paramus came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 6-1 to the Pascack Valley Indians on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Paramus' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Pascack Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paramus will host Paramus Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knght Paladins' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pascack Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bergenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
