Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 67-47 to the North Marion Colts. One positive for the Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

North Marion was led to victory by JAMEYA BROWN and JERMEA JACKSON. BROWN posted 24 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while JACKSON dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which BROWN has scored at least a third of North Marion's points. Another player making a difference was KETURAH MOZELL, who had 11 points.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for North Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Santa Fe will square off against Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Marion, they and Lake Weir will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. North Marion is facing Lake Weir at the right time seeing as Lake Weir is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
