Basketball Game Preview: Longmont Trojans vs. Monarch Coyotes

Longmont is headed into Tuesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost to Mead on the road by a 69-54 margin on Friday. The Trojans were down 50-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Monarch's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Longmont, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Longmont has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.7 rebounds per game.
