Basketball Recap: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Pace Patriots
After a string of four wins, Crestview's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pace Patriots. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 50-40.

Crestview lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Natalie Toney, who posted 16 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Toney's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Madyson Hankerson was another key player, putting up seven points along with six rebounds and five assists.
It was another big night for Grace Manor, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine boards for Pace. That makes it four consecutive games in which Manor has scored at least a third of Pace's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ikier, who scored seven points and seven rebounds.
Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Pace, they moved to 12-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
Crestview will face off against Tate on Tuesday. As for Pace, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-30 defeat against Fort Walton Beach on the 31st.
