Lower Merion and Conestoga are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Aces will head out to  challenge the Pioneers  at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lower Merion will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Lower Merion barely beat Harriton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aces put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp  10-1 win on Monday.
Meanwhile, Conestoga had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of  8-4.
 Max Brown looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Luke Hunter, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Chase Cherny, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 Conestoga was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .414. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Lower Merion pushed their record up to 10-4 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Conestoga, their record now sits at 5-6.
 Lower Merion skirted past Conestoga  3-1 when the teams last played  back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
