Baseball Recap: Jackson Day Takes a Loss

Jackson Day lost against Piedmont Community Charter on March 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Jackson Day lost 11-1 to Piedmont Community Charter. The Mariners' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Jackson Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillion Burch, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Jackson Day's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jackson Day will take on rival Sugar Creek Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Piedmont Community Charter is set to face off against their familiar foe Queen's Grant at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
