Basketball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Sterling Rangers, falling 66-34. While losing is never fun, the Ganders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1191st, while the Rangers are ranked 404th).

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Sterling, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee will host Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sterling, they will be playing at home against Port Arthur Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
