Softball Recap: Lutheran North's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Lutheran North came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Richmond Blue Devils, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since May 5th.

Lutheran North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikenna Campisi, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

With the loss, Lutheran North broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-6. As for Richmond, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lutheran North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richmond, they will venture away from home to challenge Utica Ford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
