The third road match was the charm for Sunrise Mountain, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past the Wooster Colts with a 65-60 win on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Miners as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Wooster, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Sunrise Mountain has already played their next contest, a 61-47 defeat against Elko on the 21st. As for Wooster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-48 loss against Dominguez on the 20th.
