While Eastern Randolph's victory against Chatham Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bears 3-2. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Eastern Randolph was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-11, 16-25, 16-25, 25-23, 15-3.

Roxanne Davis paced Eastern Randolph's offense, picking up 16 kills. Davis got some help from Callie Craven and her 33 assists.

Eastern Randolph's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chatham Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Eastern Randolph will welcome Asheboro at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chatham Central, they will head out to face off against Lee County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
