Vinita waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Skiatook Bulldogs 52-38. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 35-34 loss.

Vinita's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Skiatook, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
