Grace Christian entered their tilt with Logansport on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Tigers.

Rylee Guillot was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wynnlee Vincent, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted over her last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Acree, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Grace Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Grace Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Logansport, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

Coming up, Grace Christian will challenge Vidalia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.77 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Logansport, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Caddo Magnet at 5:00 p.m.
