While Hatley put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Alcorn Central. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 17-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Hatley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-13. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Alcorn Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Hatley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alcorn Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
