Softball Recap: Lewis Lancers vs. Edison Eagles

Lewis had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-10 to make it four. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-7 to the Edison Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-7 defeat on Thursday.

Baylee Stevens was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Isabella Apodaca was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

As for Edison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2. Considering they have won five games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
