Rising Star's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Gorman Panthers by a score of 46-36. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their eight-point performance the matchup before.

Rising Star now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gorman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rising Star will challenge Priddy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gorman, they will take on Bryson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
