Soccer Recap: White River Takes a Loss

White River was the 2-1 winner over Auburn Mountainview when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

White River's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Auburn Mountainview, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, White River will square off against Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Auburn Mountainview, they will take on Beamer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Auburn Mountainview will be up against Beamer's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
