Soccer Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, North Lamar was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Pleasant Grove Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pleasant Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in February.

North Lamar's goal came courtesy of Taylor Jackson, who's now up to two this season.

North Lamar has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season. As for Pleasant Grove, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, North Lamar will head out on the road to take on Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
