The Silver Hawks fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Lincoln Southwest's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Kearney strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Skutt Catholic a 2-0 shutout. Kearney's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Maicie Stubbs and Molli Kalsbeck scored both of Kearney's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.
