Volleyball Recap: Lena-Winslow Panthers vs. Durand Bulldogs
Lena-Winslow had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Durand Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played on October 1st.
Lena-Winslow easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15.
Lena-Winslow found their leader in sophomore Lila Grindey, who had seven digs and two aces.
Lena-Winslow's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-7. As for Durand, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 25-10 record this season.
Lena-Winslow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against DeKalb on the 26th. Durand does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
