Basketball Game Preview: Nativity BVM Green Wave vs. Tri-Valley Bulldogs

Nativity BVM has gone 8-2 against Tri-Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Nativity BVM Green Wave will be home for the holidays to greet the Tri-Valley Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Nativity BVM is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with an 81-69 victory over Weatherly on Thursday.

Trey Keating went supernova for Nativity BVM, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 14 boards. Keating's evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Noah Dolbin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards.

Nativity BVM smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Tri-Valley sidestepped Southern Columbia Area for a 57-55 win.

Nativity BVM's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Tri-Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Nativity BVM strolled past Tri-Valley in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 74-59. Will Nativity BVM repeat their success, or does Tri-Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
