Basketball Recap: Lake Drops Highest Score of Season Against Pisgah + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake). They secured a 49-43 W over the Pisgah Dragons on Tuesday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Sanders is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Rhett Robertson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Lake's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pisgah, their record is now 2-2.

Coming up, Lake will face off against Newton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pisgah, they will challenge Pelahatchie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
