Softball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan lost against Hazard last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Green Dragons took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs.

Ella Lisenbee was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Harlan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season. As for Hazard, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlan will host Lynn Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Dragons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Hazard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leslie County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
