The Hillsborough Terriers pushed their score all the way to 63 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gaither. Hillsborough has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaither's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rico Kindred led the charge by scoring 18 points. Jayce Humphries was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Hillsborough has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Gaither, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsborough and Armwood will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Armwood is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Gaither, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blake at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Blake is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
