Salt Lake Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corner Canyon Chargers. That's two games in a row now that the Griffins have lost by exactly two goals.
Salt Lake Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Corner Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Salt Lake Academy will play host again on Thursday to welcome Mountain Ridge, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Salt Lake Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Corner Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
