Melbourne has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the West Shore Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Melbourne has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Calvary Chapel Academy 49-28. The victory was just what Melbourne needed coming off of a 50-28 loss in their prior matchup.

Addyson Turba was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for she. Another player making a difference was Quinteria Coger, who scored six points along with six steals.

Even though West Shore has not done well against Melbourne Central Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. West Shore managed a 35-30 win over Melbourne Central Catholic. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win West Shore has managed all season.

Melbourne's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West Shore, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
