Football Recap: Schuylkill Valley Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berks Catholic, Schuylkill Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Columbia Crimson Tide. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crimson Tide, too.

Although Columbia took the loss, they still got scores from Kamrai Nichols and Rnez Duncan.

Schuylkill Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Columbia, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Schuylkill Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Columbia will challenge rival Berks Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
