Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ursuline Koalas, falling 13-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Admirals of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Arlington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Laffin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ursuline, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will face off against Pine Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ursuline, they will host Mamaroneck at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
