Baseball Recap: West Plains Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

West Plains owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the Andrews Mustangs by a score of 4-0.

West Plains is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Looking ahead, West Plains is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Amarillo at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Andrews, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wylie at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Andrews' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Wylie's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
