Volleyball Recap: San Luis Find Success

San Luis lost to Somerton back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Sidewinders came out on top against the Toros by a score of 3-1.

San Luis' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Somerton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Luis will challenge Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Sidewinders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Somerton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on San Pasqual Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
