Volleyball Recap: Ridgeline Gets the Win

Ridgeline's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Green Canyon Wolves. For the Riverhawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Green Canyon scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21.

Seini Talakai had a dynamite game, getting ten digs and six aces. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high.

Talakai wasn't the only good server: Ridgeline was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Canyon only served four aces.

Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Green Canyon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will host Tooele at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Riverhawks are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Green Canyon, they will face off against Deseret Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
