For the first time since back in March, Albemarle was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor the Goochland Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Albemarle not been charged with a red card from Estiven Contreras.

Matthew Mayo and Gavin Appel scored all three of Albemarle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Albemarle's draw gives them a new season record of 8-4-2. As for Goochland, they moved theirs to 2-9-1.

Albemarle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Monticello on the 12th. As for Goochland, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Albemarle will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Goochland surely won't give up without a fight.
