Basketball Recap: Wells Takes a Loss

Wells lost against Northville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wells CSD lost 68-43 to the Falcons. The Wells CSD were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

When it comes to explaining why Wells lost, don't look at Hunter Passmore. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Passmore is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Chase Brooks, who posted 12 points.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Wells will venture away from home to take on Indian Lake Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northville, they will welcome Fort Ann at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
