Recap: Hale Cardinals vs. Braymer Bobcats
The Hale Cardinals were the 65-64 winner over the Braymer Bobcats when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Hale took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Braymer on Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Braymer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Shoe, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Shoe scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Dakota Brandon, who scored 20 points along with five steals.
Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Braymer, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hale will challenge Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Southwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 back in December of 2023. As for Braymer, they will head out on the road to challenge Higbee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Higbee is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
