Baseball Recap: Centaurus Comes Up Short

Centaurus's tournament run continued when they took on Verrado on Friday. The Warriors lost 17-5 to the Vipers.

Centaurus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Verrado, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

Coming up, Centaurus will challenge Denver North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verrado, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Glencoe on the 20th.
