Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-8. They lost 3-0 to the Chico Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulls of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

As for Chico, the victory got them back to even at 1-1. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Chico was led to victory by Savanna Sitek and Camryn Sides. Sitek had 42 digs and six aces, while Sides hit 60% for six kills and 32 digs, seven aces, and one block.

Coming up, Bridgeport will take on Arlington Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chico, they will challenge De Leon at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
