New Canaan put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-3 W against the St. Joseph Cadets. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cadets, too.

Maddox Hoffman threw for 97 yards on 14 of 22 attempts. Andrew Esposito was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards. On the ground, Henry Stein rushed for 52 yards.

New Canaan's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

New Canaan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 43-10 victory against Danbury on the 10th. As for St. Joseph, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Ridgefield on the 10th.
