Volleyball Recap: Hunter Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hunter waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cyprus Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

While Hunter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-20.

Hunter's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Cyprus, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hunter is set to square off against their familiar foe Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cyprus will face off against rival West Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
