Volleyball Recap: Timnath Finds Playoff Glory Versus Holy Family

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Timnath had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Holy Family Tigers by a score of 3-1.

Among those leading the charge was Brynleigh Firks, who had 11 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexah Kejr, who had ten digs.

Timnath was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 12-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Timnath is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Holy Family, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Timnath didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Mullen on the 8th. Holy Family does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
