Soccer Recap: Varina Comes Up Short

Varina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Armstrong Wildcats, falling 7-3. That's two games in a row now that Varina have lost by exactly four goals.

Varina's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Armstrong, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Looking ahead, Varina will face off against Mechanicsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Armstrong, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond High School for the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
