Baseball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Valley Heights's offense. They came up short against the Marysville Bulldogs on Friday, falling 11-0. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Valley Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Warders, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Marysville, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Valley Heights will square off against Onaga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marysville, they will challenge Abilene on Tuesday.
