Basketball Recap: Motivation Comes Up Short

Motivation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 63-42 to the Unionville Longhorns.

Motivation's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Unionville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Motivation will head out to face off against Prep Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unionville, they will venture away from home to square off against Oxford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
